JOB ANNOUNCEMENT LAKE COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION
Position Title: Facility Manager Park Location: Deep River Waterpark Division: Recreation and Special Facilities Supervisor: Maintenance Manager Classification: Exempt Salary: $36,202 Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of pools, water attractions, chemical treatment systems, filter systems and building and grounds/landscape maintenance. Responsibilities also include the supervision of part-time and seasonal staff. Essential Functions of the Job: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Provides exceptional customer service to park visitors.
Monitors and maintains slides, piping, concrete, buildings, showers, towers, drinking fountains and wave equipment.
Cleans filter baskets and backwash systems.
Maintains filter sand media.
Performs grounds maintenance and irrigation repairs.
Maintains buildings, temporary shelters and ground facilities.
Administers pest control.
Maintains heaters.
Assists human resources with staff development.
Maintains required water chemistry.
Enforces established policies and procedures.
Supervises community service workers.
Assists maintenance manager with orientation for seasonal maintenance personnel.
Performs basic plumbing repairs.
Maintains restroom supplies and cleaning products.
Conducts facility inspections.
Assist with the supervision of waterpark staff in the absence of the supervisor.
