Issue 38 Principal’s Message The only appropriate way to begin the Principal’s message this week is to thank everyone in our College community, students, staff and parents, for their overwhelming support on Thursday. I hope that the prayer and support from our College community will have brought some comfort and solace to Mr and Mrs Ellis and Jack. Also, the privilege of our College being so involved in the service and celebration of Joe’s life cannot be fully expressed in words; thank you. Please continue to pray for Mr and Mrs Ellis, Jack and all who knew and loved him in the days, weeks and months ahead. As we now move through next week, events continue to be scheduled to support the The Joe Ellis Fund. Our College production of The Tempest, taking place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening, has all proceeds and profits being donated to the fund. Students involved in the show will be spending much of Monday and Tuesday with final rehearsals. We also have the College raffle, with tickets still on sale and available from the UC. The prize draw takes place on Wednesday, with announcement of winners and prizes available shortly afterwards. We also look forward to the following weekend with staff and students involved in the Car Treasure Hunt, starting from Lower College site. All of this information is included on the College website. I am sure that, along with the staff and students in the College, you will be supporting us in these events and the extremely worthwhile cause for which the money is being raised.
