this is our STORY.
After spending nearly 14 years in the Fire Service, I knew there had to be a better, more affordable and ‘modern’ firefighter scheduling and resourcement management system. I set out to build the best platform on the market - and today that system is CrewSense. I watched in frustration as my shift commanders would spend hours trying to perform even basic, seemingly mundane scheduling tasks. As a union firefighter, I knew that scheduling and overtime was a hot topic. Watching my supervisors spend countless hours on the phone just trying to fill open work shifts seemed so ‘old school’, there had to be a better way. I began researching products, and quickly realized that the idea of an affordable, reliable and user friendly system for Fire Service scheduling and resource management was simply unheard of - at least, not one we could afford.
as ‘CallBack Staffing’, and quickly realized that the need for a product like ours was widespread. Soon, Fire Departments from all over the Country were wanting our product. Fast forward to today, CrewSense.com is our flagship product; with more modules and user friendlieness than any other system on the market.
We didnt just set out to build another ‘calendar’ or scheduling system. We set out to build a completely fair and equitable overtime hiring, scheduling and notification platform, that could operate under even the most demanding labor policies.
