How the Wolfpack Club Helps NC State
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS Matching Gifts:
The NC State Student Aid Association (Wolfpack Club) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1936 as the fundraising arm for NC State Athletics. The NC State Student Aid Association exists to provide financial support for studentathlete scholarships as well as athletic facility improvements. The charitable donations of alumni, friends and fans are vital to the long-term growth and success of NC State Athletics. The NC State Athletics Department does not receive state funds for operation. Therefore, money raised by the NC State Student Aid Association is necessary to build and sustain a competitive athletics program in the Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA. Yearly donations made to the Wolfpack Club are part of the Annual Scholarship Fund. The Wolfpack Club relies on the annual donations of members to support the immediate scholarship needs of the NC State Athletics Department.
Priority Points:
Methods of Giving Pledges: Donations to the Wolfpack Club may be paid through a yearly pledge. To do so, simply fill out the form with the total amount of money pledged and pay in installments throughout the year. Remember, the deadline for football ticket priority is March 1, and the deadline for basketball ticket priority is August 1. Any donation made prior to these deadlines helps increase your priority points. Pledge today and pay later!
We all find the success of Wolfpack Athletics extremely exciting. With success comes an increased demand for tickets as well as parking. As a result, the Wolfpack Club Priority Point System is used to provide a systematic and fair process to address these requests.

Donations made by cash or check (payable to NC State Student Aid Association), are acceptable by mail or in person at the Wolfpack Club office.
For your convenience, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards are all accepted. Please use the attached form or donate online at www.wolfpackclub.com.
Pack Payment Plans: By using the Pack Payment Plan, an authorized debited amount can be automatically withdrawn from your checking or credit card account each month, making it easy to support the Wolfpack Club. The minimum payment is $10 a month. There are two options for the Pack Payment Plan: Bank Draft: Simply include a voided check with the attached form, or provide your checking account and routing number. Your account will be charged a specified amount on the 15th of each month. Credit Card: Set up a monthly recurring or one-time payment from your credit card. Choose the day of the month and the amount, and you don’t have to worry about it again.
Many Wolfpack Club donors or their spouses are employed by companies that will match cash gifts to charitable organizations. Please check with your HR department to see if corporate matching is one of your benefits, or visit wolfpackclub.com/matchinggifts for a list of participating companies. To obtain a matching grant, follow the procedures outlined by your company when making your request. All matching funds are credited to the donor’s annual giving total for the year. For example, a $360 donation (State Club), matched 100% by the company, will earn the donor a $720 (Lobo Club) contribution for that year.
Advertising Options: The Wolfpack Club produces The Wolfpacker magazine which offers numerous advertising options. All money committed via advertising in The Wolfpacker is credited the same as making a contribution at the appropriate Wolfpack Club annual giving level. This option makes it possible for a donor to pay for a membership while benefiting from advertising in a publication with a circulation of over 16,000 throughout North Carolina and the United States.
Gifts In Kind: In lieu of monetary donations, and at the discretion of the Executive Director and Director of Athletics, certain gifts and services may be accepted that would otherwise be purchased. The donor receives credit for the gift and/or service, as well as a tax deduction for the gift.
Endowments: Endowments represent the future of NC State Athletic Scholarships. Funds contributed to an endowment generate scholarships forever. The money is invested and only a percentage of the endowment total each year may be withdrawn to help pay the scholarship bill.
Other Giving Alternatives: Other giving alternatives include life insurance, securities, estate gifts, planned giving, real estate, and memorial gifts. The Wolfpack Club can work with a donor to create an individual giving program, utilizing any of the aforementioned methods.
