~OBITUARY~ Ms. Juanita Neal was born March 9, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the union of Anthony Neal Sr. and Ida Whitt Neal. Juanita confessed Christ at an early age and joined Plum Grove Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Druid High School. Juanita, “Nita” as she is affectionately known by family and many friends, retired from employment with the State of Alabama after working 25 years at Partlow. She was preceded in death by: her father, Anthony Neal Sr.; mother, Ida Neal; sister, Mary Adelle Neal Hyche; brothers: Anthony "Tony" Neal and Jimmy Neal. Nita entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2016 at Heritage Nursing Home, where she was lovingly cared for and loved by many of the staff there. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Bryant Neal and Brandon Neal, a sister, Linda (Earlie) Crowell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A special person to hold my hand, no matter come what may. A special person to laugh with me and help me along the way. I hope you know – my special sister How much you are loved. The wonderful care you provided for me, I know was sent from above.

Just a few words… My aunt Juanita was a cheerful, fun loving lady who was full of life. She always had a positive attitude and a big smile and was a delight to be around. My aunt Juanita was a loving person; she will dearly be missed. Now she has her wings and her spirit is soaring high. ~Darlene Sledge
