Participation Consent Form (Required) I, the undersigned*, hereby release discharge, indemnify, hold harmless and defend Feather River Community College District (District), its officers, employees and servants from any and all liability (claims, demands, losses, causes of action, suits, judgments) of any kind that I or my family may have against District due to death, personal injury or illness, loss or damage to property, or future causes that occur during the 2017 Feather River Volleyball Team Camp. The Feather River College Volleyball Camp will be under the direction of Feather River College Head Coach Sarah Ritchie. Ritchie graduated from Sonora High School in 1996. She attended Butte College, where she was a two-year starter and All-Conference Selection. After attending Butte, she transferred to Chico State University where she graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies. Upon attending Chico State, Ritchie was named Head Assistant Coach at Butte. In her two seasons there, she helped the Roadrunners to an undefeated conference title and an appearance at the Elite Eight State Tournament. In 2006, Ritchie was named the Feather River College Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and given the task of restarting the program. In her first season at the helm, Ritchie led her team to a second place conference finish. In 2007, Ritchie led again led her team to a second place conference finish and it’s first playoff appearance in her tenure. In 2008, in only her third season, she led her team to the Elite Eight California State Tournament where they finished the season with an eighth place state ranking. The 2010 campaign was noteworthy as Ritchie led her squad to its first ever Golden Valley Conference Championship, going a perfect 10-0. That season set the tone for teams to follow as Ritchie and Feather River remained undefeated in conference play during the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons. The 2014 season marked the highest finish for Feather River Volleyball as the team finished fourth in the state after an appearance at the California State Final Four and a 25-4 record. Ritchie, now in her 11th season, added her 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 GVC Coach of the Year Award to her honors as she has led her team to seven consecutive conference championships. Ritchie is also the Founder and Club Director for Plumas Volleyball Club.

FRC Volleyball Camp will conduct dorm check in’s on Sunday, July 23rd beginning at 5:30pm at the Feather River College Residence Halls.
Each camper must provide their own medical insurance. It is recommended that each camper bring a copy of their insurance card (front and back).
Campers are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay and will be billed accordingly.
Overnight Team: $250 per camper • Housing and all meals provided Commuter Team: $150 per camper • Lunch and dinner provided Please make checks payable to: FRC Volleyball
A $50 non-refundable deposit per camper is required at the time of team registration. This is applied toward the total camp cost. Team registration is due by June 16th.
