The All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Semi-Final takes place this Saturday 26th July Cork v Galway in Tullamore @ 2.30pm. Good Win for Minor Footballers In the Rebel Og Central 3 u-18 Football Championship at Ballyanly on Tuesday evening Inniscarra defeated Bishopstown by 5 - 9 to 2 - 10. Inniscarra opened the scoring with a point from Robert O'Callaghan. Bishopstown equalised but points from Cillian Geaney and David O'Carroll put Inniscarra ahead again before Bishopstown replied with two more points. In the seventeenth minute a free kick from David O'Carroll found Craig Barrett who passed to Altan O'Connell who scored a good goal. Two minutes later another goal followed from Cillian Geaney. A great save from goalkeeper James Walsh before half-time and good defending from James Roche, Patrick O'Sullivan and Killian Horgan kept Inniscarra in front. A line ball for Bishopstown was intercepted by Danny Herlihy who powered up field to set up Robert O'Callaghan for another point. A further point was scored by Cillian Geaney just before half-time to leave the score at half-time. INNISCARRA 2 - 5, BISHOPSTOWN 0 - 7. Bishopstown got the first point of the second half before Cillian Geaney scored two brilliant goals - the first after a pass from Robert O'Callaghan and the second after a good move involving David O'Carroll Craig Bennett and Robert O'Callaghan.
