ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
Tony Hobson is in his 10th season of directing the Fort Hays State University women’s basketball program after being named head coach in June of 2008. Coach Hobson has coached at the college and high school level for 30 years. His record as a collegiate head coach is currently 605-194, including 3 National Championships, 5 Final Fours and seven 30-win seasons. He has 14 coach of the year awards to his credit, including 3 National Coach of the year awards in 2002, 2003 and 2006. He was the MIAA and Central Region Coach of the year in 2015 following the tigers MIAA Championship and NCAA tournament Sweet 16 appearance. He was also MIAA Coach of the Year in 2016. Coach Hobson’s camps stress teaching the fundamentals of basketball, individual and team defense, unselfish play and an atmosphere where learning is an enjoyable experience.

If you send a deposit, be sure to indicate if you will be staying with us at McMindes Hall (resident camper) or if you will be commuting daily (commuter camper).

Campers will have the opportunity to play in spacious Gross Memorial Coliseum. The 7,000-seat arena was established in 1973. Four regulation indoor courts will also be used for instruction.
