MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: JUNE 18 ______________________________________________ Super Summer TEXAS
Super Summer is an evangelism camp hosted each summer on the campuses of Texas Baptist universities. “We are giving students practical application not only for learning the Bible but for taking that Gospel and making that go forward,” said Dylan Manley, student pastor from Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. Since 1974, Super Summer has trained and equipped 130,000 students to go forward and share the Gospel in their communities and around the world.
Super Summer equips high school students to share their faith in and out of church ministry contexts. “Super Summer wouldn’t exist without the Cooperative Program,” Texas Baptists Youth Evangelism Director Leighton Flowers said. “Giving to help support ministries like this is what the Cooperative Program is all about.” By giving to the Cooperative Program, our church is contributing to the mission of Super Summer in equipping students to grow in their faith and share the Gospel with others.
