Milford Bible Church Scripture Memory Program 2017 - 2018
Junior High Grades 6-8
Guidelines Verses may be recited on Sunday morning, before or after Sunday School, or on Wednesday evenings, before or after programs. They may be recited to a Sunday School Teacher or a member of the CE Committee. Verses may not be recited to family members. All verses contained in this study guide are from the English Standard Version (ESV). This is the version that the church uses and we encourage all participants to use the ESV for memorization; however, if you would prefer, verses can be recited in New King James Version (NKJV); King James Version (KJV); New American Standard (NASB); or New International Version (NIV). If you use one of these translations, please bring that copy with you so that the listener can follow along with you.
The program begins on Sunday, September 24, 2017 and ends on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Awards Program for Memory Work Participants finishing the program can choose a reward from the following list: - $50 gift certificate from Christian Book Distributors - $100 Scholarships to Christian camps approved by CE Committee - $100 toward Ladies' Lyfe - $100 toward Men’s retreat at BBC - $100 toward Ladies' Craft Weekend - $100 toward Christian college summer programs, missions trips and Youth Programs approved by CE - $100 toward Christian couples' retreats approved by CE Committee - $100 toward purchase of up to two tickets for performances at Sight and Sound Theatre
Transferring of Awards Anyone who finishes the program may give his/her reward to another person who has also finished his/her memory work.
