Junior Swamp Bats Exposure Clinic Limited to Players on Teams Competing in the JSB Fourth of July Tournament July 4 (7-10 p.m.)
Alumni Field
The goal of the JSB exposure clinic is to allow high school players to be evaluated by college coaches and listen to them talk about training like a college player and the recruiting process. Players will be drilled and evaluated in a series of baseball skills. The clinic will take place under the lights of Alumni Field on the second day of the Junior Swamp Bats Fourth of July Tournament. Players and coaches from the Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League will also take part as instructors. The NECBL is one of the top college summer leagues in the country and regularly recruit college players from New England and the Northeast. The cost of the clinic is $50 per player and includes a t-shirt. The clinic is being capped at 70 players. Players who register and pay in advance will reserve their spots. Player evaluations will include: Running, fielding, bat speed and arm-strength testing.
