DD Ranking Requirements Any Junior who resides, goes to school, or has parents working in DE is eligible for a DE Jr. ranking if they meet the following criteria. Junior players must play in the DE State Jr. Tournament or the Oscar Sebastian Jr. Tournament (points for these tournaments will count 1.5 times toward their ranking). A player must have at least one win in a tournament to qualify for ranking. The new points-per-round ranking system encourages juniors to play a minimum of 3 tournaments to receive a maximum number of points. The results from a player’s best tournaments (top 3) will count for ranking purposes. Winners will receive an additional 30 points and a finalist will receive 20 except for the DE State Tournament and the Oscar Sebastian where 45 and 30 extra points for winners and finalists will be awarded, respectively. Players in unranked tournaments will receive half the points awarded. For more information regarding ranking, contact Bryan Sauer, [email protected], 610-742-5626. Non Delaware residents must notify ranking chair of eligibility status by October 31, 2016. It is the responsibility of the player to check the ranking lists and report any potential errors in a timely manner to the Junior Ranking Chairperson.
Procedure for Entries Register online at tennislink.usta.com, click on the tournament tab and put in the ID #. Start times for at least the first match will be posted on Tennislink 48 hours before the start of the tournament.
