Junior Wheelchair Basketball Camp August 4-7, 2016
Camp Information Edinboro University will be hosting their Sixteenth Junior Wheelchair Basketball Camp and it will be under the direction of Head Coach Jim Glatch. Coach Glatch will be entering his twenty second season as Head Coach of the Fighting Scots Wheelchair Basketball Team. Camp will start on, August 4th move in day and will run through August 7th the check out day. We will be offering a discount for camp to any team that brings 5 players or more from their team and their coach. Camp will offer the opportunity to learn about both individual and team components of the game. If enough coaches attend camp, a component will be daily coaches clinic with Coach Glatch on coaching fundamentals of wheelchair basketball. This year’s camp will be open to anyone over the age of 12 years old with a lower extremity disability. Athletes must be fully independent to attend, there will be no personal care offered with the camp. Housing for the Edinboro Camp will be in an on campus residence hall that has staff supervision. All meals will be held in the Van Houten Dining Hall and are included in the price of camp. Camp Check In: Thursday, August 4, 2016. is between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. First camp meal will be lunch at 12:00 PM; First camp session will be Thursday at 2:00 PM in the gym. Camp Check Out: Sunday, August 7, 2016. is between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
