KARUTA IN MILPITAS! A Japanese Card Game Hosted by Tsukuba, Japan (A Milpitas Sister City)
Karuta is a name of a set of cards used in a card matching game in Japan. There are two main types of Karuta cards—one is Iroha-Karuta, and the other is Ogura Hyakunin-Isshu Karuta.
The Karuta card game will include 26 sites that are iconic and well known to Milpitas. It is an exciting matching game that requires speed and your knowledge of Milpitas landmarks.
It’s a fun game for ages 6 to 106! This is a FREE family event that provides all art supplies to make the cards and instruction to play the game!
