“Dayton was my school of choice because I love its atmosphere, it has a strong women’s soccer program, and I really like the coaching staff. I come from a very small town, so the compact campus and relatively small population of Dayton made me feel very comfortable. I was also looking for a school with a team that could be very competitive in their division, and Dayton proved to be this, holding their own with even some of the highest ranked teams in the country. Finally I loved how Coach Tucker was always willing to push and challenge his team with extremely tough preseason schedules, as I believe this is what ultimately allows a team to grow and improve together! Ultimately I chose Dayton because I can see my self comfortably living here for the next four years as a student athlete!” -Keagin Collie “Keagin is a strong, athletic and skillful presence in the middle of the field. As a midfielder or in the back, she is able to positively change a game. Keagin reads the game well, is an excellent tackler and is able to possess and join the attack. HIGHSCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - 2014 Captain - Athletic Council Captain and Member of Athletic Council - Honored with Junior Athlete of the Year - Honored with Senior Athlete of the Year - National wrestling team member: OFSAA champion, 8x provincial champion, 3x national champion, silver medalist at 2014 Pan Ams High school sports: -Cross Country- 3x OFSAA competitor -Track- 2x OFSAA competitor -Basketball- captain - Athletic Council Captain CLUB ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - Captain-3rd Ontario summer games, 2nd Disney showcase, 2nd Ontario cup - Only 6 league losses in 3 seasons.
