RESIDENCY POLICY ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION CHECKLIST Policy To enter Pre-K, children MUST be 4 years old on or before October 1ST. To enter Kindergarten, children MUST be 5 years old on or before October 1st. Parent or legal guardian is to be present at time of registration.

a. Original /Certified Birth Certificate - no photocopies (Office will make photocopy) 2. Verification

of parent or Guardian:

a. Parent’s Identification b. Custody/Divorce papers if applicable c. Legal guardianship papers from U.S. Court for those persons other than the parents who have custody of the child and reside in Kearny ( Notarized Letters are unacceptable) 3.

Proof of residence: Homeowners:

must produce a deed or tax bill from the town of Kearny or mortgage papers for the property.

Renters : must produce a lease ( with landlord’s phone number) or Form “A” that must be signed and notarized All applicants must also produce three (3) original (Office will make copy) pieces of mail within thirty (30) days including but not limited to: .
