Keizer Revitalization Plan The Keizer Revitalization Plan will target reinvestment and set new standards for development along the city’s central commercial spine. The plan will look at strategies for fostering new types of housing and mixed-use development, job-creation opportunities, and investment in infrastructure, all of which could lead to a new look and feel for Keizer’s city center. The plan will also explore ways to reduce congestion and provide more options for walking, biking, and riding the bus. Study Areas

Over the next 12 months, City staff and a team of consultants will gather information, perform analysis, and make recommendations for policies and investments. A citizen advisory committee and stakeholder group will assist in setting the overall scope of the conversation, but the future of Keizer’s commercial core is in the hands of the city residents and business owners.
We Want Your Input City staff want to know:
• Should developers include housing units in new commercial developments to help the city meet its growth needs? • Should commercial property owners and business owners contribute to creation and addition of public amenities?
Project Schedule
• How can the city make better use of available land through greater density or re-purposed parking lots? • What features would reduce driving and increase walking, cycling and public transportation opportunities?
