Men’s Ministry & Pancake Breakfast Plan to join us for a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 27th at 9 a.m. We need “a few good men” to set-up and cook breakfast. See Tim Jones to volunteer. Please put your name on the sign-up sheet in the hall.  JOY Ministry Women’s Retreat Today is Registration Kick-off for the Women’s Retreat, Living Intentionally: Tilling Your Soul. This will be Friday & Saturday, July 21st & 22nd, at our building (we aren’t spending the night). Our guest speaker is Polly Cline from Sevierville, TN. The fee for each is $40, but our elders are generously funding $30 of the fee per woman who is a member of North Tampa. SO . . . Good News! Your actual out-ofpocket cost is $10. You can register at tables in the foyer and side hall. Please fill out the forms today if possible, and thank your elders for their generosity! Registration is open until June 11th.  Pictorial Directory is Underway If you want to know how to download the new pictorial directory to your phone, please take a copy of the directions from one of the foyer tables. Please be sure to see Jack Beverland and have your picture taken.  Graduation Sunday Our graduates are: Raven Love, Justin Brown and Zoe Nesbit. Our congratulations to each of them! We’ll be celebrating their graduations on Sunday, May 28th. Please join us to share cake and refreshments following worship that day.  We Need Bible Class Teachers! Our 3 & 4 yr. olds and K-1st graders need teachers on Wednesday night for the summer quarter (June, July & August). Please see Virginia Thurman if you want the joy of writing on the hearts of these little ones. 

We will be feeding them lunch & dinner (10 meals) from Saturday, June 17-June 21. The “Captains” of our Army will be Sandra & Terry McCurry, Linda Ours and Ben Freeman. They will coordinate our Army of people it will take to prepare & serve the meals. Be sure to save the dates for this event. The Deerfoot guests will arrive on June 17th and the actual VBS will be June 18-21 and it will be an Indiana Jones-type theme “God’s Word—Digging for Answers”. We’ll need our teens plus at least 20-30 volunteers at various times through that week.  Young Adults/Professionals On Saturday, May 20th, the young adults will get together for dinner. There will be reserved child care at the building from 5-8 p.m. The kids will have fun & play time while the adults enjoy adult conversation! Quote of the Week Compassion costs. It is easy enough to argue, criticize, and condemn, but redemption is costly, and comfort draws from the deep. Brains can argue, but it takes heart to comfort. —Samuel Chadwick

Weeki Wachee Christian Camp From June 11th-17th, we have an opportunity for an amazing week to disconnect from our routines and reconnect with Christian friends, make new ones, build lasting memories, learn about God’s word and have a blast while doing it. See Tim Jones for more info.
