The Challenge…
The New A Levels • A Levels are now two year, linear, courses with all examinations taken at the end of the two years. • There are no AS exams taken in year 12 which contribute to their overall A Level grade. • There will now be no chance to resit exams. • Therefore students must make sure they are on the right course as they are committed for two years. • Universities will now make their offers based on GCSE results, teachers predicted grades and university entrance tests.
