KF Summer Term Newsletter
Dear Parents/Carers,
This term we continue working on our engagement curriculum. Our Science topic is ‘Picnic’. Students develop observing results of their actions with interest and show preference of the sensory stimulation. In literacy we are working on paying attention, listening and following instructions. Maths is a time to work on anticipating our daily routines and developing participating in games skills and experiencing turn taking. Towards the end of term we are planning to organise a trip- we are still collecting ideas to find out the best place to go. On our Thursday ASDAN trips to Killingworth shopping centre we are working on the Unit: Engaging with world around you: People. We continue hydrotherapy sessions on Wednesdays. Swimming in the new pool is going very well and both students and staff enjoy it a lot.
