KICK-OFF
The 2014 campaign for The Home Depot Political Action Committee (PAC) begins today. The campaign is an invitation to Get Involved, Be Heard, and Make a Difference in our communities and for our Company. Our PAC encourages salaried associate participation in the political process. With the mid-term elections quickly approaching, 2014 is an important year to become a PAC member. By donating to The Home Depot PAC, you are making an investment in the future of our Company. Your voluntary contribution allows us to help support pro-business, pro-Home Depot candidates for public office who will stand with us to:

that allows online-only retailers, like Amazon.com, to avoid collecting sales tax, which puts interconnected retailers, like The Home Depot,at a six to ten percent pricing disadvantage. THE LOOPHOLE

Prevent the National Labor Relations Board from allowing the creation of micro-unions in our stores, which could fracture our teams, fundamentally changing our business.
I’d like to share a big thank you to the nearly 70 percent of our salaried associates who are PAC members. This participation rate is one of the highest for any corporation and we should be proud of our culture of getting involved and doing the right thing.
