Kickers SC FIRST Annual Gala A Blue Night Out
The 1st Annual Kickers Soccer Club Gala Fundraiser and Silent Auction was held on Saturday, February 9, 2019. All funds raised benefited the George M. Zielbauer Soccer Scholarship Fund and Club Development. Friends and family of Kickers Soccer Club enjoyed a night full of dancing, dinner, and drinks at the Roundhouse in Aurora, IL. Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the festivities. And a very special thank you to Sarah Weaver and Diane Johnson for setting up this wonderful event.
Meet the New Director of Soccer Madison Pickett
Beginning March 1, 2019, our new Director of Soccer will be Madison Pickett. Madison will begin her Madison began her soccer career with Kickers SC playing on a U8 team and remained with the club through her participation on the U23 Women's team. After playing NCAA Division II soccer for the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, she joined the Kickers SC staff as a head coach from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Madison accepted a coaching position with the largest all-girls soccer club in Houston, Texas and was a standout coach and mentor during her tenure. Madison will be relocating from Houston to Chicagoland. Madison is excited for the opportunity to return to Kickers SC in this leadership role and to continue the professionalism, culture and quality of the club. Statement to our Club from Madison Pickett: “I would like to thank Kickers Soccer Club for giving me the opportunity to come back home and impact the club I grew up playing for. After spending some time learning at one of the best female clubs in the nation, I am excited to return back home and take on this new challenge as the Director of Soccer. Together, with the rest of the great staff that is already part of the club, the goal is to continue to grow the number of families that we as a club empower and reach through the beautiful game. We will also look to continue to produce technically, tactically, and competitively sound players within the game and successful individuals outside of the game. I am eager to connect with each and every one of you as I transition into this role and put the best plan of action in place for the spring 2019 and the 2019-2020 season. I am extremely passionate to carry on the legacy that Kickers Soccer Club has established since 1959. I look forward to bringing new members, current members, and alumni together to continue to grow the Kickers family.
