INSTRUCTIONS
Note: The Smock stitch pattern is intended to draw in stitches for a gathered effect by stranding the second color firmly across and crossing 1 stitch with 2 stitches while working the diamond cable. The sweater begins by making two Sleeve Caps individually. The upper Bodice Yoke is cast on, integrating the Sleeve Caps into this top down, Raglan, one piece sweater. One continuous strand of MC is used from yoke to hem. The I-cord neck opening finish is applied to the Back, Sleeve Cap, and Front cast on stitches to give it a firm and attractive edge which will prevent the sweater from sliding off tiny shoulders.
 Seed Stitch (seed st):
Row 1: *K1, p1; rep from *. Row 2:  K the p sts and p the k sts as they face you. Rep Row 2 for seed st.
