Operating since 1986, we are a Kimberley-wide regional organisation governed by a Board made up of highly respected and experienced Aboriginal representatives from our member services across the region. We have grown into one of the largest Aboriginal controlled organisations in the region, employing over 250 people. Collectively, our sector employs almost 500 people and provides almost 150,000 episodes of care to around 19,000 regular clients annually. In addition to our member services support role, we provide clinical services through remote health centres at the communities of Beagle Bay, Bidyadanga and the Kutjungka region (Balgo, Billiluna and Mulan) along with GP services to headspace Broome, and WA Country Health Service clinics at Lombadina and One Arm Point communities. The Kimberley Renal Service is a wholly owned subsidiary and delivers renal services (including dialysis) in Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra. We also auspice the headspace (youth mental health) service in Broome.
