Family Discussion Questions: 1) What does it mean to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? 2) How do daddy and mommy show their love to you? 3) Can we give you eternal life and make you happy forever in heaven? No. Who is the only person who can do all of those things for you? Date: July 9, 2017 (38) Scripture Passage: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” —John 14:15 Lesson Theme: Jesus deserves our obedience. Family Discussion Questions: 1) Why does Jesus deserve your obedience? 2) Can you name some of His commands? 3) Why are these commands good for you? Family Discussion Questions: 1) What is the only way that we can be saved and enjoy eternal life with God? 2) What other things can we be tempted to trust in besides Jesus? 3) Can you be good enough to be saved? Why is Jesus the only way for sinners to be saved?
