Registration Fees A $100.00 non-refundable registration payment must be turned in with the registration form and is due in the school office no later than Friday, January 29th for the 2016-2017 school year. Registration opens to the community on Monday, February 1st. This registration payment is not included in total tuition.
Tuition Actual cost per student is $6,165.93 2016 - 2017 Kindergarten Tuition for Zion Members*: $2490.00 2016 - 2017 Kindergarten Tuition for Non-members: $2960.00 2016 - 2017 Kindergarten Tuition for Sister LCMS Church that does not operate a grade school: $2490.00 Tuition Fees may be paid in full at the time of registration or the first week of school, or you may choose a monthly payment plan. (10 month plan: Aug-May; 12 month plan: June-May) Payments are due the first school day of each month. Four workshops that are intended to encourage the faith-life of our school families will be offered each year. A $25 tuition credit for each workshop will be offered for each parent (or legal guardian) of a Zion student that attends. $150 is the maximum tuition credit that can be earned in a single year per family.
Financial aid is available to those families in need of assistance with tuition for their children attending Zion Lutheran School. All requests for financial assistance shall be made through the completion of a financial assistance application form (available in the school office) which must be submitted to Zion’s school administration. The application deadline for financial assistance requests for the following school year shall be April 1st.
*Membership at Zion: To be a “member” with regard to Zion Lutheran School (tuition) means that one or both parents and children are members of Zion Lutheran Church. You may become a member of Zion by transferring your membership to Zion from another congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) Zion Lutheran School admits students of any sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities 1
generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other administered programs.
Athletic Fee There will be an athletic fee charged to each student participating in any school sponsored athletic program (volleyball, flag football, and basketball). The fee shall be $20/season for 5/6 grades and $30/season for 7/8 grades. The fee will be due on the first day of practice for that season.
