Kindergarten Supply List AWS

Kindergarten Supply List The first day of school is a new stepping stone for your child. To make the first day of school as stress free as possible, please start sending in supplies on the second day of school. It is not necessary to write names on general supply items. All general supply items will be shared within the class. The following items WILL be needed for the first day of school. Please label these items with your child’s name. 

A large backpack

 

1 large folder labeled with your child’s name Lunch



A small snack, packed separately from lunch, with a drink

The following supplies can be sent in starting on the second day of school:  6 large glue sticks   

1 bottle of liquid glue 1 box of washable markers 2 boxes of crayons (skinny crayons)

 

1 pack of baby wipes 1 box of tissues

 

1 box black thin line dry erase markers 2 boxes of sharpened, #2 pencils



5 small close-up recent photos (these will be used for crafts and other activities)



Extra clothing in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name. (please include: shirt, pants, underwear, and socks)

The following items are requested by the Art teacher and can be sent to school along with the above:  Art smock (old T-shirt or any smock)  1 package of baby wipes  1 disposable table cloth We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school, Thursday, September 3, 2015. Please report to school between 8:25AM and 8:40AM. On the first day of school, parents may accompany their children to the classroom. For the rest of the school year, after being released by the front door, students will line up by their designated classrooms. Thank You! The Kindergarten Team
