KINO VETERANS MEMORIAL STADIUM POLICIES SUN BELT COLLEGE LEAGUE

The Pima County Stadium District has established policies as it pertains to the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium that is to provide a safe and secure environment for those that attend Sun Belt College League games. BAG SIZE AND TYPE PERMISSABLE INTO THE STADIUM:    

Bag that is clear plastic or vinyl and does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” One (1) gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) Small clutch bag, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” (after being searched) Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection, including by not limited to oxygen tanks, diabetes kits, allergy pens, etc.

PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE BY ARE NOT LIMITED TO:         

Purses larger than a clutch Briefcases Backpacks Fanny packs Diaper bags Cinch bags Luggage of any kind Long golf umbrellas Pop up tents

PROHIBITED:  

Outside food of any kind. Fans are not allowed to bring any type of bottle, can, thermos, or beverage container inside of Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. However, fans will be allowed to bring one (1), non-frozen 500 ml. (16.9 fl. oz.) bottle of water, flavored water or sports drinks. Parents with small children may bring plastic bottles of formula or milk inside of the stadium No animals, except service dogs that assist their owners who have ADA needs, shall be allowed at the Premises. Service animal certification must be provided upon District request. Bikes, scooters, rollerblades, hover boards, people movers, etc.

2 ALCOHOL POLICY Alcohol will be served at all games by a concession contractor that is authorized by the Pima County Stadium District. The Sun Belt College League is not involved in the handling, selling, or distribution of any alcohol product. Staff members at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium strongly encourage all fans to exercise responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Fans should be aware of the following policies during games:  



   

Any fan that shows signs of impairment and/or intoxication will not be allowed to enter or will be removed from Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium and subject to arrest. No alcoholic beverages can be brought inside the stadium. Any attempt to bring alcohol inside the stadium or possession of an alcoholic beverage not purchased from the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium concessionaire may result in ejection. State of Arizona law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21 years of age. All fans should be prepared to show proper identification if requested by the concessionaire staff member. Concessionaire staff members reserve the right to deny service to fans that show signs of impairment and/or intoxication. Fans providing alcoholic beverages to persons less than 21 years of age will be ejected from Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium and subject to arrest. Fans possessing alcohol who do not have proper identification when requested by a concessionaire or security staff member may be ejected. A maximum of two alcoholic beverages or 32 ounces of beer will be sold per person per transaction. Alcohol sales for events will stop one hour prior to the end of a concert; at the top of the 7th inning for baseball. Stadium management reserves the right to change these policies and procedures at any time and without prior notice to fans.

Aisle Policy As a courtesy to others, fans are requested to refrain from walking in aisles during game play. Animals Guide, signal and service animals are allowed inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium with fans that need their assistance. No pets or companion animals are permitted. Baby-changing Stations All men’s, women’s and family restrooms at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium are equipped with babychanging stations. Bag Inspection Fans should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by security staff to shift and possibly remove the contents. Bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” will be denied entry inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium and fans will be asked to return them to their vehicles. There are no lockers outside of the stadium to store items nor can any items be held by staff members. All items left unattended outside the stadium will be disposed of by stadium staff.

3 Bottles & Cans Fans are not allowed to bring any type of bottle, can, thermos, or beverage container inside of Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. However, fans will be allowed to bring one (1), non-frozen 500 ml. (16.9 fl. oz.) bottle of water, flavored water or sports drinks. Parents with small children may bring plastic bottles of formula or milk inside of the stadium. Chewing Tobacco Effective Jan. 1, 2013, tobacco products including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, smokeless tobacco, water pipes, hookah, e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco, snuff and other products containing tobacco are prohibited at all times on County facilities, public buildings and adjacent properties, and in County vehicles. This prohibition applies to all employees and to all visitors and other persons at any County-sponsored activity or event conducted on County facilities, in public buildings or on adjacent properties. Ejection Fans that refuse to follow the direction of Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium staff will be subject to ejection without a refund of their event ticket, which may result in the loss of ticket privileges. Entrance Gates The main entrance gate for public admission is Gate B. Lost and Found If during your visit to Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium you misplace an item or find something that belongs to another fan, please bring it to Guest Services. Items lost at events are held in storage for ten days and then disposed of. Fans inquiring about lost items should call 520-724-KINO (5466). The Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items. Security Procedures All persons and belongings are subject to search prior to entry inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium along with inspection of all bags and carry-in items. Please have all bags open for security staff and be prepared to remove any item from inside the bag if requested for closer inspection. Some large events may be under "Clear Bag" policy. Fans electing not to consent to a bag search will be denied entry inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. Strollers Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium welcomes fans with strollers. However, their use should not in any way inhibit fan movement or block any aisles. Smaller, umbrella-style strollers can be stored underneath a seat as long as they do not create obstructions for other fans. Umbrellas Umbrella’s are not permitted inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. Please leave them with your vehicle. Weapons Fans are not permitted to bring firearms or any other weapons inside Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. In accordance with Arizona House Bill 2457, law enforcement officials attending the event are permitted to bring firearms inside the stadium if they are in compliance with the Arizona peace officer standards and training board requirements.
