players today! Most players that leave the game: “Not having Fun!” Many players only touch a ball during the 1 hour training you have. Most parents do not understand the program after U8 (they may know from U5 to U8 in-house soccer).
Equipment Shirts and Socks will be distributed to the teams the
week of 9/1. An e-mail will be sent to the coaches letting them know when the uniform manager will be at the fields to distribute them. Equipment will be distributed by the equipment manager. Equipment will consist of balls, cones, pinnies and a first
aid kit.

game! KASL Web site www.kiski-soccer.org
Practice Locations Maintain the “game fields” by practicing in open areas.
Way too much use! Poor fields conditions for our games. Limited field time for practice (sharing the fields).
Practice in open areas near soccer fields as much as possible
leaving game fields to “rest”. All teams will have open space option to practice (see map) Please help us keep players out of new field areas!! The fields are currently unavailable to KASL due to the Labor Festival. They will be available a few days after the celebration.
Game Day Set up Field Set up / take down. Fields are to be painted each week on Wednesday, Thursday
or Friday. Use Paint located in the red shed next to equipment shed or large shed next to concessions. Nozzle should be placed in correctly to get larger line. Flags with spike on the bottom should be set in the ground not in sockets. Flags and Benches returned to side of equipment shed by teams with the last game of the day (Get your parents to help – this is the time for them to put in some effort). Both sides of the field must be cleaned of trash.
Games in U5 to U8 Programs Review Rules: Now posted on the Kiski web site by age
group. Exceed our expectations on how you and your team (Parents) represent KASL! Report any injuries, problems or other concerns to your KASL age commissioner.

Players aging out of U10 Each team has players that will age out of U10 and be
required to play in U11 or U12 next season. After U10 in-house we only offer “travel teams” as an option to play. We MUST get these players “ready” to the best of our ability in order keep them playing. We need to educate our parents on the next step as many do not understand how it works. We will set up a meeting date, time and location for the U10 parents. It is very likely that we will have two meetings for them. Everyone will be notified!
Soccer after U10 In-House After in-house is “travel soccer”. In travel the number of teams we are
able to field is dependent on the number of coaches that sign up to take on a team. Coaches can opt to play in division 4, 5 or 6 with KASL approval.
4 = Competitive League (Top Level play in Sunday League), Evaluation required, 4 is offered in even & odd years (example: U11,U12,U13). Play is within all of PA West.
5 = Transitional League (Play is within the East District, Sunday Play) Evaluation needed, offered in even years only (example: U12, U14, U16)
6 = Recreation Plus League (Play is within the East District, Sunday Play) Limited Evaluation process (only if we have more players than teams). Offered in even years only (example: U12, U14, U16)
Travel Coaches must have an E certificate (we will help you get this). We are asking coaches to notify us in early May as to what they think they will take on next year. Notification to the League is required (contact us via email).
