Other stuff: Annette (first time!) drew a green stone, next week drawing will be $160. Tom announced our club’s CSM Scholarship nominee! Please come to the presentation at GHS, May 17, 7:30pm, lunch room to see who it is! Also:
Scout Conrad Holmes, Troop 130, has an Eagle Project! He’d like to repair the roof of root cellar in the Golden History Park. Our club gave $200 toward $400, total cost of his project.
May 18 – Pleasant View Elem. Closing Ceremony 5PM May 22 – Pleasant View Elem. – lunch time cook-out! We will prepare hot dogs, etc.
Our Kiwanis Club of Golden has a charitable, nonprofit 501 (c ) (3) Charitable (Scholarship) FOUNDATION chartered 6/20/2014. Mail your tax deductible gift to: Kiwanis Club of Golden Foundation, PO BOX 562, Golden, CO 80402. Please support scholarships for qualifying GHS grads, going to Colo School of Mines, college, university or any higher learning schools in Colorado.
