KS4 Pathways The Academy’s philosophy is for pupils to approach their GCSEs with a ‘Stage Not Age’ approach. As with all teaching and learning processes in the Maths department, pathways are flexible and provided as a guide to the future possibilities for your child. Decisions regarding individuals are informed by consultation with all stakeholders to maximise every student’s potential. of ICT resources available to us at MCA. The Maths department has a subscription to MyMaths, an online service that helps to enhance learning in the classroom. We also have the relatively new Renaissance Maths resource that helps teachers to identify individual student’s weaknesses and help us to work on these topics during lesson.

The Maths department follows an open-door policy. All students can approach us regarding any aspect of their learning and school experience and we’ll do all we can to aid them.
