Kulu Pum ori and Shigri Parbat. A 44-m an expedition from the Indian B order Security Force clim bed both o f these peaks. P ettigrew ’s B ritish party. Negi and T hom as then jo in ed the group on Shigri Parbat, w hich had established C am p III at 5320 m eters. The route from C am ps II to III had been difficult with crevasses and hanging glaciers. A bove C am p III, they fixed 500 m eters o f rope to get up an ice wall w hich ended only 30 m eters below the sum m it. O n A ugust 21, N egi, T hom as, N aiks T.R. A ngdoo, T.
