June 13 and 14 This year we are pleased to announce that we have Trent Smillie and Chelsea Cooke-Tripp from Team Angle coming to instruct our future Lady Lions! Trent Smillie has coached for over 25 years and has coached many of the area’s best players. He has helped more than 150 players go on to play collegiate volleyball, 150+ to be named all state and 7 to be named All American’s in the USAV, AAU or NCAA. Coach Smillie is the varsity coach at Western Michigan Christian high school and the 18s national coach for Team Angle volleyball club. Chelsea Cooke-Tripp was an all-state middle blocker at Mona Shores high school. After high school, Chelsea played at Ferris State and Glenville State College. She was the Varsity coach at North Muskegon high school for two seasons and was the JV coach for one season. Chelsea coaches the junior varsity at Western Michigan Christian, Team Angle 16s, Schedule camp: and helpsfor run the Team Angle skills clinics during the Fall & Winter seasons.
