L am chir a n d N anda Kini. Both o f these peaks have been clim bed by N ational O utdoor L eadership School courses. L am chir was first clim bed in 1991 and subsequently in the fall o f 1993 and on M ay 25, 1994. The true sum m it is 5662 m eters (1 8 ,576 feet) but we clim bed the north ridge to the lower north sum m it (c. 5600 m eters, 18,373 feet). It lies five m iles south o f Changuch. N anda Kini (c. 5600 m eters, 18,373 feet) is a mile and a h alf east o f Lam chir and live m iles south o f N anda Kot.
