Intramural Laser Tag Tournament SRC Backyard Rules of the game:
Each match will consist of two teams battling against one another There may be no more than five people on the court for one team at a time Play will begin with a whistle from the Laser Tag official During play the objective is for your team to eliminate the players on the opposing team. Each player has a set number of lives allotted and will be notified by their “tagger” that they have lost all of their lives. Once a player has been eliminated they must leave the playing area. A game can end in one of two ways, either a team will win by eliminating all players on an opposing team OR the ten minute time limit will elapse. If the game is played for the entire 10 minutes the winner will be the team with the most players left in the game.
Tournament structure:
There will be two pools of open play, each pool consists of six teams In open play each team will play five games against different opponents in their pool After pool play is complete teams will be seeded based off of performance in pool play including matches won and time elapsed to win a match. Bracket games will be single elimination games and played under the same rules as pool play.
