Instructions to complete “Lazy Day” bracelet: Tip The letters A – C designate the beads used in the pattern. Please refer to the materials list above for the key. Step 1 Thread a needle with 5 feet of beading thread (add more thread as needed). Tie on a stop bead about 6 inches from the tail. String the following: 3–A 1–C 3–A

Step 2 Pass through the second hole of the C in the opposite direction.

Step 3 Pass back through the first 3 – A strung in Step 1. 3 – A will form a semi-circle around each side of the C. Remove the stop bead.

Step 4 Pass back through the first hole of the C and second 3 – A strung in Step 1.

Step 5 String the following: 1–A 1–B 1–A 1–C 1–A 1–B 1–A

Step 6 Pass through the second hole of the first C, and pull beads tight, forming a circle. Pass back through the A, B, A and C strung in the previous step.

Step 7 String 3 – A, and pass through the second hole of the second C.

Step 8 String 3 – A, and pass back through the first hole of the same C.

Step 9 Pass through the next 3 – A (on one side of the C).

Step 10 String the following: 1–A 1–B 1–A 1–C 1–A 1–B 1–A

Step 11 In the same manner as in Step 6, pass through the second hole of the previous C, and pull beads tight, forming a circle. Pass back through the A, B, A and C strung previously. Repeat Steps 7 – 9.

Step 12 Repeat Steps 5 – 11 until the bracelet reaches the desired length (less ½ inch for the clasp).

Step 13 Exiting the last C, string the following: 3–A the loop on one side of the clasp 3–A

Step 14 Pass back through the outermost hole of the last C. Reinforce the clasp attachment several times by retracing the thread path. Weave the thread back through several beads in the beadwork, and trim the thread.

Step 15 Thread the original tail onto a needle, and repeat Steps 13 – 14 on the other end of the bracelet with the second side of the clasp.
