LOCATION The ranch is approximately 22 miles northeast of the resort town of Dubois, Wyoming on the banks of the East Fork of the Wind River at an elevation of 7,050 feet. It is about 2 hours distant from the airport at Jackson Hole, Wyoming and about an hour and a half from Riverton, Wyoming. The entrance to Teton National Park with Yellowstone National Park beyond is one and a half hours to the west.

PROPERTY The Lazy L & B currently accommodates 35 guests with plenty of room to expand. The ranch sits on over 128 deeded acres in the beautiful East Fork River Valley and is surrounded by Wyoming Game and Fish state land. The trout rich East Fork of the Wind River meanders through the ranch for approximately a mile offering exciting fly fishing opportunities; adjoining State Game and Fish sections of the river provide many miles more. The historic log lodge dates from the 1920’s and has been lovingly restored. The lodge is a favorite gathering place with a cozy fireplace, library and game tables where guests can enjoy time to themselves, an early cup of coffee before breakfast, visiting with others, and a special evening of cowboy poetry. Cabins and the lodge are tucked in the cottonwood trees and arranged around a central courtyard. The cabins range in size from the old one room schoolhouse for one or two

persons to large family cabins that house up to eight. All cabins have a small refrigerator, private bath and porches to take in the spectacular views. Two cabins are sited in secluded spots overlooking the river. There also is a 3,057 four bedroom, three bath owners home as well as a swimming pool and snack bar. There are complete corral, barn and tack facilities and a string of riding horses is included.

NEARBY COMMUNITY Dubois (dewboyce not dubwa) is a charming old west town catering to both the local ranch community and tourists. Summer events feature rodeos and gallery events.

The ranch boasts an outstanding horseback riding program with hundreds of miles of trails with half day and all day rides for either beginner or advanced riders. The three surrounding mountain ranges; the Wind River Range, The Absaroka Wilderness and the Owl Creek mountains are awe inspiring. Varied terrain includes red rock and sand canyon draws, high plateaus, mountain meadows resplendent with wildflowers, cottonwood river bottoms, tall grass range land and colorful badlands. Deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, coyotes and the occasional wolf are often spotted in the area. The East Fork River runs through the ranch. Wiggins Fork River and Bear Creek are short trail rides from the corral; all provide exciting fly fishing action for large trout. Back at the lodge there are stocked fishing ponds for the kids. There is swimming both in the river and in the solar heated pool.
