LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY AND LEARN TO SKATE Canterbury School – New Milford and Gunnery School – Washington

INTRO TO HOCKEY

LEARN TO SKATE

(for beginners ages 4 and up)

(for beginners ages 4 –10)

This program will combine an introduction to skating and hockey. Children will learn to skate while holding a stick in their hands. Passing, puck handling and basic shooting will be covered as well. Emphasis will be placed on personal skill development within a fun-filled environment.

1 HOUR PER WEEKEND WHEN: Sundays 3:30 – 4:30 Starting 11/16 WHERE: The Gunnery School COST: $175

OR

2 HOURS PER WEEKEND WHEN: Saturdays 7:15 am – 8:15 am Sundays 8:00 am – 9:00 am Starting 10/25 WHERE: The Canterbury School COST: $250

MITE CROSS ICE HOCKEY (ages 5–8)

The program will be divided up into Junior (ages 5 and 6) and Senior (ages 7 and 8) Divisions. Juniors skate up to 3 ice sessions per week. Seniors skate up to 4 ice sessions per week. All skaters must have completed Intro to Hockey or equivalent. The teams will practice and play games and have free weekday clinics starting December. WHEN: Starting 10/25 WHERE: Canterbury School, Gunnery School and Rumsey Hall COST: $300 for Junior Division $600 for Senior Division

LIMITED TRAVEL HOCKEY (ages 9–14)

A season of hockey with less travel and time commitment. Two hours per weekend including 8-10 games. Drills emphasizing fun and skill development. Home games will be at the Gunnery School in Washington. Away games will be at other nearby rinks. Free weekday clinics starting in December. WHEN: Starting 11/15 WHERE: Gunnery School and nearby rinks COST: $475 for Squirts (ages 9–10) $500 for Pee Wee/Bantams (ages 11–14)
