Learning from the Bible
Learning from the Bible Children enrolled in First Baptist Preschool & Kindergarten have the opportunity to learn from God’s word, the Bible. Three Year Olds, Pre-K and Kindergarten participate in chapel time weekly. Bible stories, scripture verses, songs and prayer time are included. Biblical concepts and stories during chapel focus on the annual school theme. This year’s theme is “Come. Grow. Reach to Know!” and the scripture foundation for the theme is “Jesus became wise, and He grew strong. God was pleased with Him and so were the people.” Luke 2:52CEV. Our theme for chapel time this year will be “Reaching to Know More about Jesus.” A chapel take home page will describe what the children have learned in chapel time and will offer an activity to do with parents at home. Chapel sheets are posted online as well. Bible stories are also part of the classroom curriculum and coordinate with the weekly thematic units. Thematic Units
