Use 有的 . . . 有的 to say that the description is true for some and not others, as in the example. 4. What did they say? 说 and gàosu (Use and Structure note 17.7) You will hear a statement indicating what someone said to someone. If the verb used is 说, rephrase the statement with gàosu; if the verb used is gàosu, rephrase the sentence with 说, as in the examples. 6. P ractice with intensifiers: 有一点 AdjV, bHjiào AdjV (Use and Structure note 17.13) You will hear a question followed by an intensifier.
