Let’s stay safe over the Summer holidays! Advice from Y5 on how to stay safe over the holidays  Stay away from canals. They have rocks and dirt in and you can seriously hurt yourself. If it is raining and the mud gets mushy and you fall, you could drown in the slushy, rocky water.  To stay safe never go near sharp things such as broken glass.  Cross roads safely. Always ask an adult you know to help you cross the road, and stay away from cars.  Stay with trusted friends while playing out.  You should always tell your parents where you are going in case something happens to you.  Do not go near old buildings or rusty equipment because you can slip and get hurt.
