I am aware of no condition which would prohibit the Participant from participating in any activities of the Camp therein. ________________________ (the participant) has received a physical examination within the last twelve (12) months. In consideration for permission to use the Lewis facilities, I hereby agree to assume all risk of injury which may occur as a result of using such facilities. I further agree to release and hold Lewis, its officers, trustees, employees and agents harmless from and against any claims, damages costs or cause of action which the Participant may have or raise in the future as a result of injures or damages sustained or incurred while using the Lewis facilities. Girls Camp July 11-12
The Girls Volleyball Camp is open for individuals heading into the 6th-12th grades. The camp will be divided up according to skill level & the athlete's wishes. The five training sessions will target all the individual skills & strategies involved in the game of volleyball. During the last training session athletes will separate into teams for tournament competition. Each athlete will be trained to execute all skills in their desired position. Please remember to specify on the application form which position you wish to concentrate on. Registration will be open between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on on Monday the 11th of July. The first session will begin at 2:30 pm. Athletes will finish their last training session at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, July 12th. Pick up will be at 4:45 pm. More information will be sent after the application has been received. Application deadline is July 10th or until full.
Boys Camp July 25-26
The Boys Volleyball Camp is open for individuals heading into the 4th-9th grades. Campers will separate into age, skill level, and some position training during the sessions. The five training sessions will target all individual skills and strategies involved in the game of volleyball. Each athlete will be trained to execute all skills in their desired position. Please remember to specify on the application form which position you wish to concentrate on. Additionally, athletes will separate into teams, go through team training and compete in a tournament the last session. Registration is open between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on on Monday the 25th of July. The first session will begin at 2:30 pm. Athletes will finish their last training session at 9:30 pm on Tuesday, July 26th. Pick up will be at 9:45 pm. More information will be emailed after the application has been received. Application deadline is July 20th or until full.
Camp Info.
Location Both Volleyball Camps will be held on the campus of Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, which is located north of Highway 80 off of Route 53. (One Univeristy Parkway, Romeoville, IL 60446) Please visit www.lewisu.edu for detailed directions and maps. Facilities - John F. Kennedy Sports Center Neil Carey Arena, the proud home of Flyer Volleyball and Basketball Teams, features a spacious main arena with 2 volleyball courts, bleacher seating, and an upper deck. The Student Rec Center is a 50,000 square foot field house with four interchangeable multi-purpose courts, electronic drop down curtains and a surrounding 1/8 mile track. Housing and Meals All resident campers will be housed in an air-conditioned university residence hall. Meals will be served in the campus cafeteria.
