We are almost half way through our series called “The Good Book” covering the 40 biggest ideas of the Bible. We hope you are enjoying the study! Another follow-along sermon series will be offered this fall, starting in September. More info to come!
The Global Leadership Summit is a great opportunity to fill your tank with encouragement and ideas from leaders from the secular and Christian communities alike. You, our Life Group leaders, are valuable leaders and we encourage you to be a part of the Summit! So..$ we are offering FREE tickets to the first 30 leaders who respond before June 30th—whether you’ve attended a Summit before or not. Email Nancy at [email protected] to claim your ticket! Once again, there will be lunch sessions available for LG Leaders both days. We will use this time to discuss the great materials we heard during the sessions and enjoy our lunch together.
FALL SERMON SERIES IS COMING SEPTEMBER 9/10! This fall we will be launching another study along sermon series and we would love for all our Life Groups to join in! The name has not been finalized yet but it will be along the theme of ‘spiritual influence’, which is prominent in our new mission and values here at Sherwood Oaks. All our Life Groups leaders will be invited to a *Sneak Peek* in August, where you will get information, ideas and study materials for the 6 week series. [Date & time TBA] As you are planning for fall with your group, we would love for you to keep the weeks of September 10th-Oct 15th open. Be watching for more information to come on this exciting series!

News & Notes There’s a LINE for Life Groups!! Did you know that there are more folks interested in Life Groups than we have open spaces? We especially need connections for young marrieds with kids and singles ages 45 and up. So if you have room for others to join your group, please let us know. ([email protected]) or come to one of our connecting events below.
