LHC Registration Night!!! Wednesday, August 13th 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Howling Dog.

Hockey Club Board Meetings: All Members are invited and encouraged to attend the monthly board meetings. It’s a great way to stay informed about your organization! Regular meetings are held the first Monday of the month.

Referee Clinics… With the hockey season just around the corner it’s also time get ourselves registered through USA hockey for refereeing. Refereeing is a great way to be even more involved with hockey, helping you understand the rules, keeping you active and competitive pay! Please consider being an official this year. The process to become an official is very easy. Remember no officials; no home game can be played in Luverne. Seminar dates and time will soon follow. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Hockey Headquarters Equipment Swap Saturday, Sept. 28th Starts at 10am If you have anything you would like to sell or if you need to purchase nice used hockey equipment you may want to check this swap out.

HELPING AS A VOLUNTEER IS WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM A SUCCESS! In addition to the candy sale fundraiser, each family is required to fulfill the following work hour requirements: Fundraising: 15 hours/ season or buy out option of $15/hour. Activities include: Glen’s Lunch Wagon, Glens Sample Day’s, Eagles Steak Fry, Butter Braid and Schwan’s food sales and admissions at high school games. Hours worked will be tracked by the event chair. Concessions, Arena Support/ Building & Maintenance: Now have combined hours a total of 35 hours/season or buy out option of $15/ hour. Activities include: Coaching, Arena Cleanup Day, Scorekeeping, Timekeeping, and Penalty box/goal judges. Volunteers who work the scoreboard and announcing will receive time and a half. Scheduling hours is conducted by signing up on the bulletin board by the concession stand. Hours worked will be tracked/ recorded for the Arena Support/ Building & Maintenance by your Parent Rep and Concessions will be recorded by the Concessions Director. If you have signed up to work and have a conflict, please find a replacement. Many hours are left open due to individuals signing up in advance and canceling at the last minute. Please check the Concession schedule frequently, arena events/ game schedules change often. Hours worked will be tracked/schedules change often. Families not fulfilling their fundraising, building and maintenance and concessions requirements will be billed for any remaining hours at the end of the 20132014 season at a rate of $15/ hour for 1-5 hours and $30/hour for 5.5 hours or more.

~ HP 14/15 Fall Program ~ This is for boys who are 2000 & 1999 birth dates. Tryout and Skill Sessions Dates and Times: Saturday, Sept 14th, 5:00PM to 7:00PM - Lockwood Motors Arena, Marshall Sunday, Sept 15th, 4:00PM to 6:00PM - Lockwood Motors Arena, Marshall Saturday, Sept 21st, 5:00PM to 7:00PM - Lockwood Motors Arena, Marshall Sunday, Sept 22nd, 4:00PM to 6:00PM - Lockwood Motors Arena, Marshall Try-out and skill session fee will total $125.00, but will be paid separately. Try-out session will be $80.00 and includes a jersey. Registration fee, the player profile, and consent to treat form must all be completed online at https://minnesotahockey.ngin.com/register/form/027660 442. Registration can take place immediately.
