Lincoln University Baseball Prospect Camp When: Sunday, October 5th Time: 9:00 AM (Check-in begins at 8:30 AM) Where: Lincoln University Baseball Field Price: $100 (Please make checks payable to Lincoln University Baseball) or sign up at www.lincolnbaseballcamps.com. Included: Lincoln Baseball dry-fit t-shirt and lunch will be provided *The camp will be conducted by members of the Lincoln University Baseball Coaching Staff as well as current players. *There will also be coaches from other local colleges and universities in attendance. Camp Activities -All players will be evaluated in the 60 yard dash, maximum throwing velocity and a hitting exit velocity. Catchers: We will teach proper techniques in framing blocking and throwing. We will evaluate each player’s pop times, blocking and fielding ability. Infielders: We will teach proper techniques in fielding, throwing and double plays. We will evaluate each player’s footwork, hands, range and double play turns. Outfielders: We will teach proper techniques in fielding, throwing, and taking good angles to the ball. We will evaluate each player’s footwork, range and arm strength. Hitters: We will teach proper swing mechanics and the ability to hit the ball to all fields and in every situation. We will evaluate each player’s bat control, power and bat speed. Pitchers: We will teach proper pitching mechanics and drill to improve velocity and command of all pitches. We will evaluate each player’s mechanics, velocity, and command.
