head coach Debbie Yohman
Debbie Yohman enters her 29th season as the head coach of the Pitt Gymnastics program. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed many individual record-breaking moments and tremendous team accomplishments. Coach Yohman has worked tirelessly for nearly three decades to help mold the young women from this university into fierce competitors and productive members of society.
University of Pittsburgh 2013-14, Head Coach • Led the Panthers to the fourth-highest score in school history, a 196.125, against Kent State and Centenary • Coached the team to six wins and her gymnasts earned six all-EAGL first-team and two second-team honors • Earned a sixth place finish at the EAGL Championship • Three Panthers earned a berth in the NCAA Regional Championships
1986-2012, Head Coach • Coached the team to a seventh-all time high score (195.375) at the 2012 EAGL Championships • Led the Panthers to a second place finish at the EAGL Championships in 2000 • In 2004, she coached Alyse Zeffiro, who scored the Panthers’ first two perfect 10.0 scores on the vault and floor exercise • Teams have received bids to the NCAA Regional Championship in 18 of her 26 years as head coach • Had individual representatives at the NCAA Regional Championship every year during her tenure • Has earned ECAC, EAGL and Northeast Region Coach of the Year honors • Led the Panthers to nine individual EAGL titles • Helped the Panthers gymnastic team earn over 130 All-EAGL Academic selections as well as over 95 NACGC/W All- American Scholar Athletes

Terry Karwoski enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Pitt gymnastics program. The former two-time MAC Coach of the Year acts as the primary vault and floor coach and brings a wealth of experience to the Panthers coaching staff. Karwoski has proven to be a vital part of head coach Debbie Yohman’s staff and looks to continue to build upon previous success in the upcoming year.

head coach Debbie Yohman
Debbie Yohman enters her 29th season as the head coach of the Pitt Gymnastics program. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed many individual record-breaking moments and tremendous team accomplishments. Coach Yohman has worked tirelessly for nearly three decades to help mold the young women from this university into fierce competitors and productive members of society.
University of Pittsburgh 2013-14, Head Coach • Led the Panthers to the fourth-highest score in school history, a 196.125, against Kent State and Centenary • Coached the team to six wins and her gymnasts earned six all-EAGL first-team and two second-team honors • Earned a sixth place finish at the EAGL Championship • Three Panthers earned a berth in the NCAA Regional Championships
1986-2012, Head Coach • Coached the team to a seventh-all time high score (195.375) at the 2012 EAGL Championships • Led the Panthers to a second place finish at the EAGL Championships in 2000 • In 2004, she coached Alyse Zeffiro, who scored the Panthers’ first two perfect 10.0 scores on the vault and floor exercise • Teams have received bids to the NCAA Regional Championship in 18 of her 26 years as head coach • Had individual representatives at the NCAA Regional Championship every year during her tenure • Has earned ECAC, EAGL and Northeast Region Coach of the Year honors • Led the Panthers to nine individual EAGL titles • Helped the Panthers gymnastic team earn over 130 All-EAGL Academic selections as well as over 95 NACGC/W All- American Scholar Athletes

Terry Karwoski enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Pitt gymnastics program. The former two-time MAC Coach of the Year acts as the primary vault and floor coach and brings a wealth of experience to the Panthers coaching staff. Karwoski has proven to be a vital part of head coach Debbie Yohman’s staff and looks to continue to build upon previous success in the upcoming year.
