Lippert Components reaches 60th year in business milestone
Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®) is proud to announce that the company is celebrating 60 years in business. LCI was founded in 1956 by Lawrence (Larry) Lippert and began as a galvanized and aluminum roofing business for the manufactured housing industry. Today, the business has evolved into an industry leader of premium components to the recreational vehicle, manufactured housing, trailer, bus, marine, and heavy truck industries. A week-long celebration for LCI employees will be held the week of May 16th-20th to commemorate the company’s 60th year in business. Guided by three generations of family leadership, LCI has grown tremendously over the last 60 years. To date, the company operates 45 facilities throughout the United States and in Canada and Italy, and employs more than 7,000 people who work together to bring innovative products and world-class service to its customers. LCI has completed more than 40 acquisitions in the last 16 years, and has grown to become a $1.4 billion revenue company. “LCI has become the company it is today because of people, both inside and outside our organization,” said Jason Lippert, CEO of Lippert Components and Drew Industries. “To our employees, past and present, thank you for your tireless efforts to make LCI great. I want to especially thank our customers who have stuck with us through good times and bad. At LCI, we have always put our customers first, building long-lasting relationships built on trust, and I think that really shows today.” Lippert continues with excitement for the next 60 years. “Our long term growth strategy is to keep growing in both our core RV and manufactured housing markets and our adjacent markets, including bus, heavy truck, marine, trailers for boats, livestock, equipment and other cargo, and specialty vehicles. We will also
keep pushing more resources to expanding sales in the aftermarkets for RV, manufactured housing, trailer and marine, and in international RV markets, while continuing to look for attractive acquisition opportunities across all of those segments.” To celebrate its 60th year in business and thank the many employees who have contributed to the company’s success, LCI will hold several events throughout the week of May 16th.
