CASE PLANTER NITROGEN / LIQUID FERTILIZER TUBE PART #53687 (GXSST300CASETT) (Read Instructions Completely before Beginning Installation)
This tube applies any liquid fertilizer solution beside the seed trench, behind the packing wheel. In the picture, the producer has opted to purchase Part # 53687 (TT300/CASE) tubes for each side of his packing wheel. This is up to the producer’s discretion, using one or two tubes behind the packing wheel. The tubes are sold as one unit, not in pairs. However, if you do opt for two tubes behind each closing wheel, AgXcel does sell a 3/8” poly Y-splitter to assist in getting fertilizer to each side.
Installation Steps: Before you begin, verify the “package contents” to ensure all items are included.
Step #1:
Bracket can be mounted on left or right side of packing wheels, however, tube must be on inside of bracket, not the outside, due to possible damage from cornstalks.
Step #2:
The large hole in the bracket goes around the bolt on the packing wheel arm. The small hole is for the nut and 5/8” bolt provided which is bolted to the existing hold in the packing wheel arm.
Step #3:
Mount tube with ¼” stainless steel bolts. Adjust the tube according to the angle preferred, tighten bolts.
Step #4:
The zip ties provided are for the small three holes on the top of the bracket to assist in holding the hose going to the tube.
