Lisa Martin RD, MSc Lisa Martin RD, MSc is a PhD candidate at the Department of Agricultural, Food & Nutritional Science, University of Alberta. She received her Bachelor of Science and completed a Coordinated Dietetic Internship Program at the University of Alberta, Canada. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition and Metabolism at the University of Alberta, Canada. In her PhD program, she has developed an International Cancer Cachexia Data Repository (ICCDR), created with the goal to define definitive diagnostic criteria for cancerassociated malnutrition. Her overall aim is to move towards the clinical identification of malnutrition across the spectrum of body weights, from conventionally undernourished to recognition and identification of cancer-associated malnutrition in the age of obesity. Her body of work includes several peer-reviewed publications with focus on the development of diagnostic criteria for cancer-associated malnutrition. She was awarded the ASPEN Rhoads Foundation C Richard Fleming Grant in January 2017.
