To all parents, guardians and community member,
Due to a significant number of teachers participating in the walkout tomorrow and Wednesday, school is has been cancelled for the remainder of the week. There will be no school on Tuesday, April 3, Wednesday, April 4, and Thursday April 5. As happened today, busses will run 4 hours late for high school/middle school students and 3 hours late for elementary students with boxed lunches from Feed the Children. Boxes will be available at the Middle School for students not riding the bus.
Thank you for your continued support of our school. Please contact your legislators to help ensure a quick resolution to this issue. While bills were passed to try to avoid the strike, funding has already been reduced through legislation creating an atmosphere of distrust toward the legislators; sources of funding from original bills were repealed.
